He is world bodysurfing champ and the standard he has achieved in the sport needs no further proof. Fred David makes the most of his twofold ability as an athlete and a lifeguard by being Justine Dupont’s “best partner in crime”.
The Squambats Group has been promoting and selling Kite wings in the New England region (North East USA) in the geographic mecca in the Lakes region. We are Ice and Snow Kiters, as well as lake and ocean kiters. The new F-One Swings are perfect for ice safety as the wings free float, are very lightweight, and frameless too!
We are just back from one week of multi sports water activity in Punta San Carlos, Baja Mexico where Solosports hosted our annual F-One wave camp. We had a great time with a dozen guys that came from as far as Israel to experience the beauty of Baja and the waves of of PSC (short for Punta San Carlos) and to get a go at the 2020 collection of kites (Bandit-2020 and bandit-S), boards (new Mitu and Shadow boards), Wing (Swing), Foilboards (Rocket SUP, Rocket Wing), Hydrofoils (Gravity 1800 and 2200). This spot is turning into the best playground possible if you want to kitesurf (of course!), but also SUP surf, SUP foil, Wing Foil, Wing Surf, Surf Foil, and more. So much so that we are planning a camp with a focus on Wingsurfing next year. Stay tuned to that. F-One has all the best gear possible for Wing surfing with the Swing, but also its Gravity series foil and multitude of boards
Winter is all about strong wind & colds days, this is exactly what the Blizzard jacket is made for. This 3 layer jacket is light, waterproof & windproof. The two side-pockets let the spreader bar go through to be used when kiting. That Blizzard is also perfect for kite instructors creating a cocoon around the Kiter that allows a far better resistance to cold even with a standard wetsuit.
We could not be more proud of Grant ” Twiggy” Baker, who earlier today claims the Nazare challenge in Praia do Norte in Portugal in epic conditions. Twig is a member of the F-One foil team, an accomplished watermen and now considered a veteran in big wave competition. He has done it for so many years, his last win was in Puerto Escondido last year. He won Mavericks twice already, last time in 2013. There are so many young chargers who are gunning for the top prizes nowadays. big congrats Twig !

Race One started with all but Johnny Heineken (1,1,1) and Joey Pasquali (3,4,3) starting on starboard. Johnny and Joey just squeaked across the fleet and headed out. As the fleet tacked out Joey and Johnny were looking launched, but as we got closer to the lay line the fleet inside clearly had more pressure. At the windward mark it was Joey, then Johnny but followed by Daniella Moroz (2,2,5) and Kai Calder (4,7,9)
