“Behind the product” is a short series of videos explaining how we built our range and its products characteristics. On this video, we explain our Neoprene range
The new MANERA boots come in two models, the MAGMA 5mm and the X10D 3mm. Both are designed in 3D for a perfect fit and with no velcro, which is one of our favorite feature (no more flapping and sticking to your wetsuit when in a bag or a bucket). They are very easy to put on and off and dry very quickly. The grip is also top notch, overall great boots.
DESIGNED IN 3D
When the industry standard widely develop 2D patterns and try to fit it on a 3D body, we decided to break new ground and take the opposite direction. We used computer design to model good-fitted wetsuits in 3D, then we employ an innovative software that converts it into a precise 2D pattern for the factory. It creates a natural, second-skin fit that makes the MANERA wetsuits stand out.
A stylish and classy navy blue (Ink Blue) material sets this suit apart from traditional black neoprene and with it’s 5.4.3 thickness variation, I noticed a thinner panel down the side which provided more flexibility and decreased weight and bulk while maintaining enough thickness in the chest and other areas where needed to keep me warm. This suit truly feels like a top of the line, high quality wetsuit, and with all of it’s preventative measures for increased durability, I’m looking forward to it keeping me warm for many winter sessions to come.
MANERA is expanding its collection and is now offering a complete range of wetsuits for MEN & WOMEN, from the MAGMA 5/4/3 Steamer Full Suit to the X10D 2/2 Shorty Short Sleeves. All in all, the METEOR collection is composed of 23 models in various panels thicknesses, 2 different neoprene technologies (MAGMA and X10D) and multiple colors.
