With silky smooth yet reactive handling, the Breeze feels really light in the air, staying put through the biggest holes in the wind. Its bar pressure rings in at light to medium with nice smooth progressive power and its airframe exhibits really good canopy structure, stability and control. One quality we particularly savored is the design’s unloaded turning characteristics that allowed the kite to turn while sheeted out with little line tension. Often in foiling, you want to change the kite’s window position but don’t want to heat up the magic carpet ride and the Breeze allows you to make those changes without pouring fuel on the fire.
Peyo is a well known French surfer based in the Basque country close to the Spanish border. He started surf foiling a few years back and has a very engaging style. Fast and radical, watch Peyo’s very own surf foiling style.
Fernando Novaes alias “Mizo” is a talented surfer from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started foiling a few years back to be able to spend as much time on the water regardless of the conditions. His ride is like poetry, flawless but powerful with a lot of grace.

F-One sent us a few STRIKE (sizes 4.2 and 5.0m) we were able to immediately put to the test where our high season is in full swing with a good pool of talented wingers, meaning mainly South Florida, La Ventana (Baja, Mexico) and also Hawaii (Maui and Oahu).
The Exo 2 does an excellent job of lightening up the feel of the harness, and with somewhat less shaping down the center, allows your body to move a bit more within the harness. Its variable flex is one of the key characteristics that make the new Exo 2 such a great blend between getting comfortable back support but also having a harness that will move with you as you reach for grabs or rotate your upper body for heaving snaps off the lip.
The Bandit 2021 does an excellent job of delivering a grunty pull that leads to adrenaline pulses during aggressive maneuvers, yet it’s got great upwind abilities and offers a super stable flight that still earns marks for ease of use during basic freeriding. One of the key areas that impressed us was the power and steering response throughout kiteloops that inspired confidence to push boundaries.
For us the decision is clear. With water temps hovering in the low to upper 50s, the 5/4/3 X10D does an excellent job of keeping us warm while adding a significant amount of flexibility. This extra stretchy feel encourages you to move and you feel this freedom when suiting up at your car, reaching down to grab some rail or paddling back out at the end of a long but warm session.
From light to high winds, you will discover the full potential of the STRIKE. Thanks to its unique design and construction, the sensations on the water are unique. The work done on the control of the deformation of the wing offers more power, fantastic upwind performances, stability and control. This feeling of control will allow you to push the STRIKE into jumps and air rotations. You are in total comfort at all time, the STRIKE’s has the perfect traction balance between your two arms.
