The 3rd Annual Green Hat Kiteboarding KiteFest 2017 took place on Sunday, April 23rd at Sandy Hook Bay Catamaran Club in New Jersey and we sent East Coast Rep Nate Scheu to spread the F-One and Manera stoke. The schedule of events included clinics from brands covering topics such as introductions to kiteboarding and hydrofoiling, bar tuning, self-rescues, riding strapless surfboards, gybing and tacking directional boards, big air, and more. StFYC Kite Race Series recap: Thursday, April 20, 2017

St Francis Kite Race Series kicked off this Thursday. A perfect summer evening, warm winds, flat water and big smiles. we only got two races in as the wind tapered quickly at the end of the second and the boats were busy fishing some folks out of the water. Johnny Heineken took the night (1,1), showing that he is again race ready for a fast season, Johnny was followed by out of towner Denis Taradin (2,3) showing that even your average Thursday night is an international event.

Iksurfmag tests the BREEZE “Exceptional light wind kite… you literally only need a breeze”

This kite completely blew our minds! It flew in barely any wind and performed incredibly well. Foilboarding on the BREEZE was so flowing and felt so easy, the power delivery from the BREEZE for foiling is ideal. Riding on a twin tip was smooth, user friendly and doable in light conditions. This kite should be on your radar if you’re a freeride, foiling fanatic. Likewise, if you’re a school or are at the learning stages then this kite flies in anything and is well worth a look.

On the water the ride through chop is sublime, the HRD rail tech works well to smooth out the bimps and reduce spray. Combined with the softer flex of the glass version you are rewarded with incredible pop and release off the water. The wide outline of the 137 and the deep channels in the bottom of the board then help to smooth the landings. We found the Trax HRD to be a very easy and forgiving board to ride.

70 kids from 12 different countries have competed this weekend in Saint Pierre la Mer, France. We have had some amazing heats from our F-ONE NEXT GENERATION groms which resulted on having 2 World Champions and being on 4 podiums! The very hard conditions have not stopped them from shredding.

GROM KITSY NIPPER JOINS F-ONE SUP NORTH AMERICAN TEAM

Socal young upcoming paddler joins the F-One & Manera Team! We are very excited to welcome thirteen-year-old Kitsy Nipper as the newest member of our National SUP Team. Kitsy joined us a few weekends ago at the Santa Cruz Paddlefest and had outstanding results, winning both of her divisions. She will be paddling the F-One Race Pro 12’6 and 7’7 Madeiro Pro boards.
