High Wind Test: BANDIT Size 5 and 7m

The Bandit has nice medium bar pressure that gives the rider solid feedback on kite placement and in underpowered conditions, you will detect oversheeting fairly quickly. For lift and hangtime, the smaller sizes will deliver solidly in the explosive boost category and will give you some hangtime but the latter is not really what you expect from small kites. Overall, the Bandit is a very fast, responsive all arounder that our team found to work extremely well in high wind surf.

Well built, with a good flex the Signature Series is a very comfortable board to ride. Perhaps not as forgiving as the Mitu it excels when it comes to rail-to-rail carving and also does well in blown out choppy conditions. This kite completely blew our minds! It flew in barely any wind and performed incredibly well. Foilboarding on the BREEZE was so flowing and felt so easy, the power delivery from the BREEZE for foiling is ideal. Riding on a twin tip was smooth, user friendly and doable in light conditions. This kite should be on your radar if you’re a freeride, foiling fanatic. Likewise, if you’re a school or are at the learning stages then this kite flies in anything and is well worth a look.

Iksurfmag tests the Trax HRD Lite Tech “a smooth ride with awesome pop”

On the water the ride through chop is sublime, the HRD rail tech works well to smooth out the bimps and reduce spray. Combined with the softer flex of the glass version you are rewarded with incredible pop and release off the water. The wide outline of the 137 and the deep channels in the bottom of the board then help to smooth the landings. We found the Trax HRD to be a very easy and forgiving board to ride.

I was extremely pleased with my choice of the 7’7” Papenoo Pro. If I have to rate my skills I would say they are of a intermediate SUP surfer with desire to progress. I`m 6’4” gravitating around the 200 lbs.

TKB REVIEW: NEW F-ONE FURTIVE – “SUPER STABLE, BOOSTING KITE THAT CRANKS UPWIND”

With 5-struts and its higher-aspect canopy, the Furtive creates a solid airframe that sits farther forward in the window and accelerates quickly for blazing upwind performance. While the turning speed is not on par with the Bandit, this kite does generate a good amount of lift and hangtime which makes it a good choice for the progressive freerider that likes to cover distance and boost big air freestyle.

TKB REVIEW: 2017 F-ONE BREEZE, THE PERFECT MATCH FOR FREERIDE FOILBOARDING

The Breeze doesn’t have huge amounts of low-end grunt, rather it’s medium pulling power and middle of the road steering pair with impressive amounts of depower on the high end which makes it a great option for riders in the beginner to intermediate stages of progression and those focusing on freeride foilboarding.
