The Lord of the Wind event, held in Los Barriles, about 1 hr driving south of La Ventana, will happen the week BEFORE the La Ventana Classic, from January 18 to 22. The La Ventana Classic and Kitexpo is January 25-29.
This is the 7th edition of the LOW and historically, the best US kite racers are meeting down there for some epic racing. That said, there are also plenty of actions with a slalom, big air and freestyle competition too. A big crowd for a big event !
