The Bridge of the Gods and The Blowout are returning to Stevenson, WA on July 15th-17th, 2022!
The Bridge of the Gods event is a youth contest in both freestyle kiteboarding and freestyle winging for kids 20 and under. Heats and divisions will be decided based on participants. It’s $50 to enter with some killer prizes. Ideally this event will be held on Saturday, July 16th from about 10am to 4pm. The event may move to Friday the 15th depending on wind.
The Blowout is a race from Stevenson to Hood River with NO BOAT SUPPORT. Racers will be put randomly on teams to add to the fun and safety. Car pooling is encouraged and there will be many moving parts on race day. Racers need to be at Stevenson kite beach no later than 10am. There will be free food and beer at the finish line for all racers. $100 to enter provides swag bags and prizes for all racers. Ideally this event will happen on Sunday, July 17th but it may be moved to Saturday, July 16th depending on wind.
Registration for both The Bridge of the Gods and The Blowout will happen day of the event. There is no online registration.
