The F-One America Team had a strong showing at the 31st Annual SC Paddle fest this past weekend. International paddlers Poenaiki Raioha and Josh Riccio flew in from Tahiti and Hawaii and score one podium each on the Elite 15k race (Josh Riccio) and on the Elite Surfing competition (Poenaiki). Kitsy Nipper (13 years old), a new addition to the national team took first place in the Women surfing and in the Junior Race. Billy Ackerman finished first in the Open Surfing category. Everybody had a blast with the conditions.

We were stoked on the conditions we received at the lane this year! Some rain and overcast conditions Saturday, but for the most part we were greeted with a clear blue sky, bright sunshine and insane surf conditions, Poe even hit the water on Wednesday and Thursday with no wetsuit and just boardshorts!

We are proud to have been able to put on another spectacular event for 2017! With highly contestable and downright fun conditions Steamer Lane really gave us a great canvas to work with. You couldn’t ask for a better arena for athletes to showcase their skills. We saw some incredible waves over the weekend and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
