Lily Buden (Maui) joins F-One Next Gen Team

13 year old Maui native joins the F-One Next Generation team.

We are proud to announce Lily Buden has joined the F-One Next Generation team. This young American athlete hails from the island of Maui, Hawaii. You can look forward to seeing her in multiple disciplines including wing foil, prone foil and SUP foil!

How did you get into foiling and wing foiling?

My dad taught me how to foil in July 2020 when I was 11. I have been passionate about it ever since.

What do you do before getting in the water?

I check the weather conditions and the spots’ webcams.

Tell us about your best foiling memory.

I was wing foiling out at Kanaha on the day before my birthday. While I was riding, I noticed that Kai Lenny was out as well. A couple of times when I did some tricks, I could hear him cheer me on! It was a great start to my birthday weekend.

Worst wipeout?

I took a foil to the bridge of my nose.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would first like to say thank you to my parents for all that they have done for me and for how much they have supported me. I would also like to say thank you to the F-ONE team for being interested in me and believing in me!

What’s your favorite F-ONE gear and why?

My favorite gear would have to be the ROCKET WING-S board, ESCAPE HM CARBON 530 and a 3.0 m² STRIKE V.2. I love this quiver because it is super light and really fun and easy to ride!
