Event: LTD Watersports Kite-O-Ween

We wanted to thank LTD Watersports in Destin, Florida and also the CKA Association for hosting an awesome Kite-O-Ween event this past weekend. We scored three epic days of wind, even with some marginal conditions the first and second day.
The event was set at lee side in Fort Walton, Beach which was a solid flat water location on the intercostal waterway. This was a perfect user-friendly spot to try out some new 2016 gear the supporting brands brought for demo. Friday and Saturday the demo event started with 17m kites filling the sky, and of course one 12m F-One Diablo foil kite that Chris from LTD was rocking. It’s awesome to see the reaction of the locals on the 2016 range of gear from F-One and MANERA. The 17 meter Bandit has unreal performance in 8-12 knots, really making it fun to be on the water in those lighter conditions and of course LTD Chris was ripping upwind on his 2016 DIABLO 12m!
As Sunday rolled around the conditions were up in the air and the crew was unsure if the CKA was going to be able to run their contest. Sure enough the wind kicked in and we sealed the Halloween weekend with an insane day of kiting. At one point we counted over 30 kites on the water. Thanks again to everyone involved and we can’t wait until the next evet with LTD!
