Mitu is very meticulous and involved when it comes to his Pro Model. There’s no shortcut with his testing. His approach is fueled by a lot of curiosity and a very fine analysis on how the board operates. Totally focused from day one, he invests all his experience into the tests. Offshore, side-off, onshore, Ponta Preta, Kite-beach, surfing, jumping, the board must tick all the boxes to be this all-in-one ripping machine. Sizes: 5’2, 5’4, 5’6, 5’8, 5’10
Winter is all about strong wind & colds days, this is exactly what the Blizzard jacket is made for. This 3 layer jacket is light, waterproof & windproof. The two side-pockets let the spreader bar go through to be used when kiting. That Blizzard is also perfect for kite instructors creating a cocoon around the Kiter that allows a far better resistance to cold even with a standard wetsuit.
The TRAX has a long heritage and is one of the most popular twin tips on the market. F-One introduced the ESL construction with the 2017 collection. Shape are identical with the other available construction. This series has proved to be quite popular, its pricing (cheaper than the more expensive Pro Flex series) being the main attraction but also for the rider who like to wax their board and have a more direct feel with the water. ESL stands for Essential and that the ESL series is a bull bamboo and double bamboo deck construction series, stiffer and super strong (as opposed to the Pro Flex series made of HD Foam Flex composite + heel shock absorber + deck stringer)
More than an icon or a best-seller, the MITU PRO MODEL is first and foremost Mitu MONTEIRO’s own board and this can mean only one thing: the board just as the man behind it remains firmly at the top of its game year after year. Available Sizes: 5’2, 5’4, 5’6, 5’8 & 5’10
The new MANERA Sliding bar offers more freedom of movement and range of motion than the fixed hook. It lets you rotate your body without twisting the harness, for a smoother connection with your kite. The harness doesn’t ride up: as the connection with the kite is closer to the body it doesn’t have the leverage effect of a fixed hook. It is a good alternative for foiling, strapless, surfing.
A skillful balance between stiffness & flex that brings support where you need it and the freedom to move the way you want. We started the ECLIPSE project three years ago. The idea was to increase the rigidity of our frame concept which would allow for a better support of the back & a lower fit.
Our product development process is always the same: Build a prototype, give it some water-time, re-design it and build another one… Until it feels perfect in every condition. Watch our video and understand the work behind the ECLIPSE harness.
The TRAX has been the F-One best seller for years. Still is. It has always come in two constructions, Lite Tech and Carbon. This year, F-One is introducing a price point TRAX, call the ESL Series, following in the footsteps of the MITU ESL Series. ESL stands for Essential with a focus on optimizing construction process to minimize cost, and keep the shape and program as close as possible to the Lite Tech or Carbon series. Equipped with the Platinum 3 Pads/Strap, Unibox Fins and Handle. Width is quite wide so a 135 x 42cm would be the equivalent of a 137 x 42 Trax Lite Tech. When you choose a twin-tip the length is an important factor, but the width as well !
