Our young grom Evan Drye was hand picked by F-One International to attend the annual NEXT GENERATION training camp, coached by Etienne Lhote, in FURTEVENTURA, one of the Canaria Island, where the wind is always very strong. The Next Gen Team is composed of promising kids, age 10 to 17 from all around the world, and they are all already VERY good kiteboarders. It was a first for Evan, and also for his dad Kevin. Here is what Kevin has to say about it:
F-One refines their kites for 2015 while adding subtle changes to their twin tip boards and the surfboards received a big upgrade in construction
happy new year !
Here it is, the first piece of the F-One foil kite, the board ! Because as you may recall you need a board to foil, with a specific box to attach your mast. Talking of which, the mast will follow suite, and the foil as well. We will keep you updated. For now, this is what I can tell you about that board:
Only a very tiny small number of kiteboarders can actually ride that wave and not look foolish, and one of them is Mitu Monteiro. Check this MONSTER he caught while in Tahiti in this past August with the F-One team to shoot the 2015 catalog.
This is the fastest SUP surfboard tested to date, by far! Not only the board generates plenty of speed but it keeps it through the turns at the same time allowing for a great degree of maneuverability and drive
Thanks to Peter Spain for some really awesome pictures during the Battle of the Bay this past week end where our young rider Arthur Daniel finished second overall behind Chase Kosterlitz. Rounding Alcatraz and the South Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge can sometimes feel you are going down a whitewater class 2 river !!
The 2015 Signature is a must try, get with your local shop and demo one today!! Until then check out what Rider Billy Ackerman has to say and check out the epic pics. #gopro #mygo
F-One team rider Arthur Daniel took a well deserved 2nd overall place at past week end Battle of the Bay SUP event, held at Crissy Field in San Francisco with the beautiful bay, Alcatraz and Golden Gate bridge as a backdrop.
Great pictures of Poenaiki and Natua, the F-One SUP Team during the Huntington Pro this week. Thanks to Donovan for the pictures !
