StFYC Kite Race Series recap: Thursday, April 20, 2017

St Francis Kite Race Series kicked off this Thursday. A perfect summer evening, warm winds, flat water and big smiles. we only got two races in as the wind tapered quickly at the end of the second and the boats were busy fishing some folks out of the water. Johnny Heineken took the night (1,1), showing that he is again race ready for a fast season, Johnny was followed by out of towner Denis Taradin (2,3) showing that even your average Thursday night is an international event.

F-One Next Gen team shines at the Youth World Cup

70 kids from 12 different countries have competed this weekend in Saint Pierre la Mer, France. We have had some amazing heats from our F-ONE NEXT GENERATION groms which resulted on having 2 World Champions and being on 4 podiums! The very hard conditions have not stopped them from shredding.

Socal young upcoming paddler joins the F-One & Manera Team! We are very excited to welcome thirteen-year-old Kitsy Nipper as the newest member of our National SUP Team. Kitsy joined us a few weekends ago at the Santa Cruz Paddlefest and had outstanding results, winning both of her divisions. She will be paddling the F-One Race Pro 12’6 and 7’7 Madeiro Pro boards.

AXEL ON PODIUM IN MEXICO – HYDROFOIL PRO TOUR 2017

The world’s most talented Kite foil athletes have just finished the first leg of the 2017 Hydrofoil Pro Tour in La Ventana, Baja Mexico and F-One has come out with Axel Mazella on the podium. Axel finished 3rd place overall and 2nd in U21 division to Olly Bridge.
