We all should have known that Chip’s Birthday was going to be a wet and wild evening. Ebb tide and wind gusting over 25 knots made for a fun and fast evening. As the night went on the wind stayed up but trended slightly south. This meant that the square start in race one turned pin favored for race two and three. Event Recap: F-One & Manera Demo at Kitty Hawk Kites – June 10, 2017

Saturday June 10th, 2017 in North Carolina’s Outer Banks had sunny skies with light winds and was a great day for the F-One & Manera demo at Kitty Hawk Kites. Everyone started out the day riding the bigger size kites and by the end of the day the 10m & 12m kites were on the water. The Trax kiteboards saw the most action throughout the day and the Mitu 5’8 surfboard was also a crowd favorite, with all of the kites and boards receiving rave reviews by everyone!

StFYC Kite Race Series Presented by F-One, Manera & Bluerush: Thursday, May 18th, 2017

Oh boy, it does not get much better than that. Tonight, marked the third night of the season and the conditions could not have been better. 25Knots at Anita rock made for some exciting (and fast) racing. Most of the fleet was on 8-11m kites which means 25 Knots upwind and 30+ downwind bringing exciting racing right to the beach at Crissy!

Yet another fun and, competitive night. After having a beautiful week in San Francisco, the city by the bay showed her true colors. Fog down to the deck, 30 degree shifts and 20 knot puffs (perhaps the 0 knot lulls were more important). it was truly a "the coldest summer racing I ever spent was tonight in San Francisco".

The 3rd Annual Green Hat Kiteboarding KiteFest 2017 took place on Sunday, April 23rd at Sandy Hook Bay Catamaran Club in New Jersey and we sent East Coast Rep Nate Scheu to spread the F-One and Manera stoke.
