After the final stop of the Kite Foil World Tour in Sardinia, F-One racers come out on top! In the Men’s we have Connor Bainbridge from Great Britain who was hungry for the win this year catching the fleet by surprise! Connor finished 4th in Sardinia this past week moving him up to 2nd over all in the world! For the Women Kirstyn O’Brien from the USA has shown that hard work and dedication pays off taking the women’s title for 2018!

Speaking of starts, Sunday started with an amazing sunrise which meant no chance of rain. Then, it was time to get to the site and get your preparation started. Finally, it would be off to the ‘big start.’ Before the start, though, there was socializing and pretending nerves were everybody else’s problem.

Kite Speed World Championship 2018 in Oman has just finished up last week and F-One’s Alex Caizergues and Mandi Browning were on top of the pack! Alex with 49.111 knots takes home second place in the world with a tough battle against renowned Rob Douglas. Mandi receives first place in the women’s division and tenth overall with the men at 35.028 knots!
