F-ONE team rider Fernando “Mizo” Novaes is heading to Montañita, Ecuador as a guest coach for the 2027 Ecuador Foil Retreat. From February 27 through March 14, riders can choose any seven-night stay for a week dedicated to progressing on the foil, exploring Ecuador’s coastline, and riding alongside some of the best in the sport.
The retreat brings together prone and surf foiling, Foil Drive, tow foiling, and tow boogie, with daily coaching and sessions at warm-water reefs and point breaks around Montañita.

Brazilian F-ONE rider Mizo has been part of the foil scene since its early days, bringing his unmistakably smooth style to prone, SUP and downwind foiling.
From F-ONE projects in Brazil and Cape Verde to endless foil lines at Chicama, Mizo has spent years pushing his riding across different conditions and disciplines. Now, he’s bringing that experience to Ecuador for two weeks of coaching, progression and plenty of time on the water.
