Christopher MacDonald Claims Silver in Tarifa

The GWA Wingfoil World Tour returned to Tarifa, Spain, one of the most iconic destinations in the sport. Combining powerful conditions with Tarifa’s renowned Surf-Freestyle playground, the event once again delivered an incredible week of high-level competition. F-ONE riders rose to the occasion, with Christopher MacDonald claiming an impressive second-place finish, while Luca Vuillermet secured ninth. Ezio Bastianelli and Zoe Trudeau also put on strong performances, representing F-ONE throughout an action-packed stop on the world tour.

Christopher MacDonald delivered an outstanding performance in Tarifa, earning a second-place finish after an impressive week of competition. Chris remained consistent throughout the event and finished just one point shy of the top spot. The result moves him up to third overall in the GWA Wingfoil World Tour rankings as he heads into the upcoming Canary Islands events with strong momentum.

“This event puts me third in the rankings so let’s keep working. Onto the next. F-One Wings giving me an advantage always with the best gear. Was very impressed by the light wind ability.”

After a strong start to the season in Leucate, Luca Vuillermet finished ninth in Tarifa. While the result wasn’t what he had hoped for, Luca continues to build momentum as the season progresses and is already focused on the next challenge. “This only gives me motivation to train more and push for the Canary Islands,” he shared following the event.

Zoe Trudeau and Ezio Bastianelli also represented F-ONE in Tarifa, taking on the world-class field and challenging conditions throughout the event. Both riders gained valuable experience at one of the most iconic stops on the GWA Wingfoil World Tour as they continue to progress this season.
