At Manera, we’re honored to partner with Freeline Surf Shop, delivering Manera gear through their historic Santa Cruz location.
Founded in 1969 by surfboard shaper John Mel and his wife Kim, Freeline has been family-owned and community-driven for more than 50 years. What started as a small space for John’s custom boards has grown into a cornerstone of Santa Cruz surf culture.
Today, the shop is run by Peter Mel, world-renowned big wave surfer, and his wife Tara, alongside their sons John and Anthony—a true multi-generation surf family.
We’re proud to have Manera represented in a shop that embodies authenticity, craftsmanship, and the spirit of the ocean.
