“As a wing foiler since 2020, mostly in the SF Bay Area and Maui, I thought I knew my perfect setup — F-One 60 L Rocket Wing, SK8 750/650, 85 cm mast, and Strike V5 Aluula. Then I tried the Plume.
After just a few minutes on the beach figuring out takeoff and controls, I hit the water and was instantly hooked. My very first run, I was up on foil and cruising upwind — the Plume just flies. It feels lighter than a wing, ridiculously intuitive, and turns carving jibes into pure joy.
I started on a 4.2 m Plume with a 75 L board, 75 cm mast, and SK8 1150, but quickly dropped to my usual SK8 750 and long mast. That’s when the magic really happened — tighter turns, sharper wave hits, and an addictive, nimble feel.”
