After taking part in the San Francisco Paddle Challenge—the first official SUP Foil Downwind race in California—a group of us here in SoCal felt inspired to follow the current and bring the stoke home.
The SUP Foil Downwind community has been growing fast, and the energy just keeps building. Malibu’s coastline offers ideal conditions and stunning scenery for our sport: the sun at your back, clean bumps, and the PCH running alongside the water. It’s a downwinder’s paradise.
We want to dedicate a day to bring the community together and welcome out-of-towners to experience this coast with us—and of course, throw down and race each other.”
