Justin Meyers, a talented photographer out of Portland OR, recently collaborated with Fujifilm to shoot a campaign for one of their latest camera lens releases. The team ultimately chose to work with freestyle athlete Christopher MacDonald to shoot wing foiling in Hood River, combining fast-paced motion and light out in the elements. “Earlier this summer, the incredible team at Fujifilm reached out to collaborate on a project for an upcoming lens. After brainstorming, we decided to focus on Wing Foiling in Hood River, OR—one of the windiest places in the world. There was just one problem: no wind.“
“What followed was two weeks of determination, patience, and chasing the elements. I’m beyond proud and grateful for this amazing team, who stuck with it and made it happen. When the wind finally arrived, and the light put on a spectacular show, we were more than ready to capture what was in front of us.”
