Don’t Miss the Hood River Voyager Clinic!

Check it Out!

In the heart of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge, Hood River has become the mecca for downwind hydrofoil enthusiasts. The convergence of steady winds and active water creates the perfect environment for learning or mastering this exhilarating sport.

These clinics, led by experienced Voyagers, focus on everything from the basics of hydrofoil equipment to advanced techniques for activating onto foil and riding bumps or taking your skills to the next level through advanced bump reading. Beginners might start with foundational skills such as balance, timing, and bump recognition, while more seasoned riders can dive into refining their turns, speed, flow, and overall technique.

Our instructors include the best downwinders in the business, including Maui to Molokai and Molokai to Oahu Champion & F-One athlete, Edo Tanas, Nick Kapule, another top finisher, along with seasoned instructors Scot McNally “The Foil Wizard”, Simeon Ke Paloma, John Hearn, Kahi Pacarro, and local, Walker Hendricks with additional guest instructors popping in to provide further instruction.

The Voyager clinic will run in Hood River OR, Thursday through Sunday: Aug 29-Sep 1.  Voyager will have a 4 day weekend pass or a daily pass available.

Participants benefit not only from hands-on training but also from the content review captured by our team led by Nuage Vision. Early evening debriefs and social gatherings offer a chance to share stories, exchange tips, and celebrate the day’s successes. For many, these clinics represent more than just a learning experience—they’re a gateway to a deeper connection with both the sport and the stunning environment of Hood River.
