Preview: Manera ECLIPSE Harness with Adaptive Hard Shell technology

Check out this sneak preview of the new Eclipse Harness coming Fall 2018. This is Manera's version of a hard shell harness featuring an Adaptive Shell Concept, Low-profile cut and a perfect balance between stiffness and flex.

Eclipse – Adaptive Hard Shell Harness

Having worked on ergonomic designs for a while now, Manera’s goal was to push their frame concept they started with the EXO further with stiffness, allowing even better back support and a lower fit. Something 100% hard was not a real option as our back needs some adaptability, everybody having a different morphology. So here comes the ECLIPSE, a skillful balance between stiffness & flex that brings support where you need it and the freedom to move the way you want.

Featuring an “Adaptive” Hard Shell, meaning starting hard in the center area of your back to gradually softer on the edges. The stiff center-belt prevents the harness from folding and compressing your body while preserving a good lumbar support. The softer outline preserves intuitive mobility and adaptability. Initial feedback from our team here in the US has been great, the harness being fully locked in, with great support and no movement up your body, even when your kite wants to pull you up.

It results in a shell that is forgiving where you need flex and stiff where you want support.

Coming soon, available to the public Fall 2018.
