As always, the Tahoe Nalu event was a great success, with a lot of SUP enthusiasts showing up for all the fun races, from the 10 miles (for the Elite), 5 and 2 miles, or the fun races for groms. There was something for everybody. Big thanks to event organizer Ernie, Bob and Chris for putting one of the best SUP event in California.
We had a lot of touring and race boards to show an demo and we were very busy all week-end long. It’s pretty awesome to see how SUP as a sport can bring so many people together, from all background and ages. Fun!
We had the chance to demo our all new 2018 Flatwater 14′ Race Pro, a new design and shape that came to fruition thanks to head designer Charles Bertrand, brand manager Belar Diaz and pro racer Josh Riccio, who has been using the board this season with tremendous success. The feedback has been great and we are going to do a more in depth review very soon. The new baord comes in two width 23.5 and 25.5 and is clearly designed for the Elite paddlers who want to go fast and win races.
