The world’s most talented Kite foil athletes have just finished the first leg of the 2017 Hydrofoil Pro Tour in La Ventana, Baja Mexico and F-One has come out with Axel Mazella on the podium. Axel finished 3rd place overall and 2nd in U21 division to Olly Bridge. It’s insane seeing so many kites on the water at one time not to mention on foils shooting for the first buoy in the Sea of Cortez, it’s definitely a beautiful sight.
An Unfortunate high speed crash prior to race day led to Joey Pasquali sitting-out on the injury list, which was a major bummer. Riley Gibbs (USA) was on fire out of the gate and held strong with the top 4 for a day or so before finishing in 13th position overall. We are proud of our F-One team and are excited to see how the season pans out.
Axel Mazella – 3rd overall 2nd U21
Titouan Galea – 11th overall
Riley Gibbs – 13th overall
Jon Modica – 19th overall
