2016 Wind Voyager Triple-S Open Kiteboarding Competition at REAL Watersports, Saturday June 4th 2016.

Wind Voyager Triple-S Open 1ST place – William Palmer

We are having an excellent time at Real Watersports in OBX, North Carolina for the 2016 Wind Voyager Triple-S Invitational and Open Events!

F-One and Manera Rider Will Palmer gave it his all and accomplished 1st place in the Triple-S Open, advancing to the main Invitational Event!! Will is the first F-One Athlete to get into the Triple-S Invitational and we are very proud!

Hard work pays off and Palmer is here to prove it! Coming out of a recent injury, will put on one hell of a performance. The competition was fierce, especially with word champions like Alex Pastor present. Will has been training all year in his hometown of Saint Petersburg, Florida with fellow rider and best bud, Billy Parker.

The Triple-S Open is an opportunity for riders to give it everything they have to advance into the Triple-S Invitational main event and Will Palmer did just that! Roughly 30 riders attempted to advance into the main event with only the top two places moving on! Will’s first choice ride is the 2016 F-One Spicy Twin-tip 138 x 42. The Spicy works perfect for features, kickers and is durable enough to handle anything you have to put in its path. The Spicy wakestyle board mixed with the rock solid pull from the legendary Bandit Kite gives Palmer an edge with facing the best of the best in the wakestyle game.

On to the Main Triple-S Invitational Event Will Palmer had a stacked heat going up against big names like Brandon Scheid, Christophe Tack, Chris Bobryk and Jake Kelsick missing the final by a hair!

We interviewed Will right after his heat in the Invitational main event, and he said: “I am very thankful for my sponsors, family, and friends and I can’t wait to compete with these guys again!”
