This is going to be one spectacular event ! Eighty of the world’s fastest foiling kiteboard racers will assemble in San Francisco to compete in the third stop of the 2015 KiteFoil Gold Cup tour. After a stop in La Ventana (Baja, Mexico) and recently in Italy, F-One Team Rider Max Nocher leads the rankings. It’s going to go fast, really fast and be a hot battle. The F-One team is the strongest we have ever assembled, with the French Max Nocher, Romain Castel and Alex Caizergues and the Americans Joey Pasquali, Nico Landauer, Bryan Lake, Seth Besse and the young Sponholtz brothers. They are all using the new F-One Diablo Ram Air kite which debuted in fanfare in La Ventana a couple months ago. Joey stepped up his game this year and is currently leading the rankings of the Bluerush Thursday Night Race series, a well known Bay Area series also hosted by the St Francis Yacht Club at Crissy Field, which gives us a pretty good idea of who is the fastest foiler in the US. The F-One team will have plenty of competition from top notch foilers and especially coming from Johnny Heineken and Nico Parlier.
F-One and Manera are proud sponsor of the event which is hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco.
Spectators are encouraged to gather at Crissy Field during the day to watch the racing and chat with the competitors. In the evenings, there will be great social events at StFYC and Crissy Field.
