Davo HidalgoWhat got you into the Kite business?
I have been always fascinated by the sport, every time I stayed close to the sport following it and helping it to develop it in the area, one day after some disagreements with some friends, I had the perfect excuse to become independent with my operation, so that was when I borrow my moms credit card and purchase my first 3 kites and start a kite school, back then I was the crazy one for doing that, and now thanks to a lot of hard work, the support of my family, my friends (greendot) it became my life and my business.Where do you like to kite?
I have been in many places but I have to be honest, I love my home spot, been able to kite here in Santa Marianita for me is the best, 8 months out of the year with gentile trade winds and amazing swells just makes the perfect sport for me.What is your favorite local restaurant for an after Kite meal?
That will be my mon’s restaurant, “Alcatraz” number 13, named after the bird not the prison lol, located at the Murcielago beach in MantaWhat is your favorite local Kite event?
With no doubt the Fly-Fest is my favorite event of all times. Probably is the only one where you can have a surfexpo, kite competition and live music in the same day in the same place…
