Jim Buttrick, regional F-One rider, participated at the KB4C. Great event for a great cause.
The pictures were taken in Hood River, OR this past weekend at the 2010 Kiteboarding 4 Cancer 6 hour derby. Riders ran a 3 mile loop for 6 hours to raise funds for regional cancer programs. It was combined with SUP for Cancer events and raised over $71,000.
Of that, the KB4C athletes raised over $40,000 alone, which is matched by the generosity of the John Wayne Cancer Foundation to bring that number to $80,000!!
